Celebrating the female champions across the tech idustry in Azerbaijan
We begin by opening the nominations on October, 15th. Everyone (including you!) can nominate an inspiring person from the tech industry in only one (1) from 11 categories. All you need to select the category and fill the nomination form!
We collect the nominations until April, 10th. After the deadline, the short list of nominees will be selected from all of the received nominations during the nomination period. Our Judges committee will select 5 finalists per each category.
Between the 10th of April and the 20th of April, the Judges committee will be voting to choose confidentially 1 final winner per category
Entrants must meet the following criteria to qualify:
A leader woman that was integral to company success by demonstrating outstanding innovation, customer wins and deployments. Judges will examine female leader’s progress in client testimonials, achieved ROI, success in challenging implementations, post-sales support and service, and tailored customizations in specific enterprise environments.
A female leader of a technology, digital or e-commerce start-up that has demonstrated excellent growth with a coherent and sustainable strategy in achieving it. Mixed team start-ups are welcomed. Judges will check demonstrations of growth (turnover, profit, employees etc.), standout achievements and customer testimonials.
A female FOUNDER, CEO or CIO, CTO who has demonstrated particular innovation, IT excellence and leadership. Judges will consider projects and achievements spanning the current organization or others if applicable, along with examples of best practice, leadership, ROI generated and alignment to business goals.
A woman who began a career in programming in the last five years and has shown great promise that she will go through to achieve tremendous results in the industry.
This can be either a technology company that has demonstrated a great desire to attract and retain more women, or a company from any other industry that has demonstrated a great desire to attract and retain more females to its IT and/or digital department. Judges will rate efforts the employer has made to attract and retain more women and create a more diverse and inclusive working environment. Nominated company should disclose their female and male employers’ percentage in their nomination.
A woman who has achieved something exceptional in the IT industry, chosen by the judges.
Distinguished women with a recognized contribution to the field of IT in rural or remote areas. (Based on non-metropolitan classified areas per the Rural, Remote and Areas, i.e. areas where the urban centre population is less than 100,000.
Outstanding women with a recognized contribution to the field of education with active usage, implementation of IT or any other innovation, technology can apply to this nomination. Nominee should present a project, describing how innovations and technology was implemented into educational process, subject, or any other education related activity.
The IT Community award recognizes the candidate with exemplary service to the IT sector, through philanthropic initiatives and efforts to foster a positive working environment for women in IT. The goodwill ambassador will be actively making a difference in the IT community, working towards the advancement of women in IT and going above and beyond to support the community.
Agriculture can be an important engine of growth and poverty reduction. Therefore, we need to do more with less and discover new smart solutions for agriculture. While women make up 40% of the agricultural workforce in the developing world, according to The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, few are farm owners and growers. To be sure, AgTech is a window of opportunity to make a splash in both agriculture and technology for a gender that for many years was side-lined. Women in AgTech – in a field that emphasises ‘disruption’, we must be on the front lines of a collective push towards equality and change. Some of the most passionate actors and activists in food and AgTech are women, and in every corner of the world they are profoundly improve our relationship with nutrition. These are some of women who are striving to bring the tenacious challenges of the food system into the public consciousness, and we are honoured to invite them for this nomination. With this nomination we would like to present women with the aim to bring fresh new solutions into the field of agriculture, to promote women in food and agricultural technology for doing incredible work for sustainable food system. Distinguished women working in a state agency or other public-sector institution promoting and implementing digital transformation in public-sector. A woman who daily works in IT or innovation related projects by enhancing professionalism, motivating other public-servants to sustain the innovations and improvement of the delivery of public services in the most effective, transparent and technological way. The nominee should present an innovative idea, a distinctively new approach, a unique policy, and technology implemented or other significant TECH related input.
