Safiya was a Member of the Board of Ultra Technologies, a technology company that received the award by AWITA (Azerbaijan Women in IT award) for being the most Gender-friendly and Inclusive company. Also, she initiated and implemented the Binar@ project, which provides digital training to girls in the Azerbaijan region in 2021.
Committed to championing gender equality and diversity, active participant of social projects aimed at encouraging girls to explore careers in IT and technology. Serving as a board member for the non-profit Femmes Digitales, organizing and facilitating outreach programs, engaging students and their parents to expand opportunities and break stereotypes.
