On November 17, 2024, FEMMES DIGITALES-Supporting Women in TECH hosted an engaging and impactful Tech Talk as part of the COP29 framework in Baku, featuring the distinguished Prof. Salma Abbasi, Chairperson of the eWorldwide Group. Prof. Abbasi, a technologist, philanthropist, and social activist with over 40 years of experience in the fields of technology and business, shared her visionary insights on the transformative power of technology and diversity in addressing global challenges.
During the event, Prof. Abbasi emphasized the critical role of inclusive technologies in driving meaningful change and advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). With her extensive background, holding senior executive positions in Fortune 500 companies, she highlighted the importance of integrating technology solutions to empower underserved communities, address systemic inequalities, and create sustainable innovations.
The Tech Talk was moderated by Jana Krimpe, founder of FEMMES DIGITALES and a globally recognized leader in digital identity and innovation.
