“Supporting Women in TECH” – “FEMMES DIGITALES” Public Union was created in 2014 with aim to unite women working in the public and private sectors of the ICT industry and for enhancing their education and career opportunities in this field. As a not-for-profit organization, we exist to empower women from all branches of science and technology to achieve their dreams. We celebrate the enormous contribution they make to our economy and society and work hard to ensure they receive the opportunity and recognition they deserve. On May 21, 2021, after 7 years of fruitful activity FEMMES DIGITALES – “Supporting Women in TECH” Public Association received a Certificate of the State Registration of a Non-Commercial Legal Entity. In this regard, the co-founders and council members of the organization came to a decision to announce a yearly program to attract new members to the public union.
On October 2022 the introductory meeting was hold to 45 chosen applicants to provide detailed information about “FEMMES DIGITALES” activities, future prospects, the guidelines for joining the organization, and usefulness of organization for new members. Following the kick of seminar, the workshops on multilateral topics on TECH sphere were continuously delivered to participants for compiling theoretical knowledge:
- “Developing Digital Products with an Agile Approach”
- “Branding and neuromarketing as an integral part of modern business”
- “Essentials and trends of Digital Marketing”
- “Smart city and villages: what is it and how it is constituted”
- “15 tips for starting your business”
- “Global practices in the field of artificial intelligence”
With aim to show the Tech industry from within, the practice sessions and presentations were delivered by technology specialists from well-known public organizations and private entities, banks. Applicants had an exclusive opportunity to visit ASAN Service Center – “one-stop shop” location spot, that bring together representatives of 10 government entities and private companies providing electronic and physical services in a public-private partnership; PASHA Bank – one of the leading banks in the country; Bestcomp Group – industry leader in system integration, data center solutions; AzInTelecom – the country’s well-acknowledged company, providing cloud solutions, business solutions, and centralized information systems.
In November 2022, the closing ceremony of one year Mentorship Program was held by choosing 15 most active participants as new members of the organization. The participants expressed their excitement and gratitude for being able to benefit from an exceptional opportunity to enrich their knowledge both in theory and practice and enhance d networking opportunities.
